Yang Yongliang

Written by Pam Blanco

Terri Timely+Sarah Applebaum

Written by Pam Blanco

Who said that good music videos are dead? Directed by Terri Timely, in collaboration with the brilliant Sarah Applebaum the video "Polarity Song" shows us the opposite.

Terri Timely is the collaboration of two people, Corey Creasey and Ian Kibbey. An inexhaustible well of creativity, if someone is not too sure please see the music video directed for Seventeen Evergreen. In Collaboration with Sarah Applebaum, who certainly I recommend, a new world emerges. A store, colors, patterns and textures ... hallucination, sound ... Three minds full of ideas and good music, the results are fantastic!!

Please enjoy!...

Shinichi Maruyama

Written by Pam Blanco

Great work of this japanese artist. His technique is both curious and exquisite... Whit a large photographic career, around four years ago began to focus on conceptual photography. He plays with simple fluids and then take a pic. Everything around is freezing.

For his latest proyect called "Gardens", Maruyama has created a conceptual series of twelve images inspired by the mental and physical endurance necessary to create a Japanese Zen garden. Drawing a line between himself and the monks who maintain Zen gardens in Japan, Maruyama has created surreal compositions by repeatedly throwing tempera paint into the air and then photographing and combining the frozen moments for beautifully balanced, otherworldly and physically powerful images.

1972 München Olympics

Written by Ivan

I've always admired a lot this graphic identity. And everytime I see it again I love it even more and more. The graphic system is not only highly complex but also highly resistant to aging. It stands today to be admired and studied. Most of the material was compiled and great part can be acquired in this English website.

Designed by Otl Aicher, also know as Otto Aicher was born 13th May 1922 in Ulm, Germany. He was one of the leading graphic designers of the 20th Century as well as an educator and author. He was renowned for his structural visual systems and typography. Aicher began studying sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts Munich. In 1947, he opened his own studio in Ulm. In 1952 he married Inge Scholl, the older sister of Werner, Hans and Sophie. In 1953, along with Inge Scholl and Max Bill, he founded the Ulm School of Design (Hochschule für Gestaltung Ulm), which became one of Germany's leading educational centres for design during the 1950s and 1960s. Faculty and students include such notable designers as Tomás Maldonado, Max Bill, and Peter Seitz.

Death in Paris

Written by Pam Blanco

Fotos Fiesta "I Like BestiaMag"

Written by Emil

MaricorMaricar

Written by Pam Blanco
